Purpose of Position: 
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Dublin team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build tools and pipelines that enable the engineering team to build, test, and ship code as efficiently as possible. You will work alongside a small, experienced team of engineers, gaining invaluable knowledge and experience in designing scalable and high-performing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient delivery processes.
- Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
- Automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Work closely with the engineering team to optimise development workflows and system performance.
- Identify and resolve system bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Conduct performance testing, capacity planning, and optimisation.
- Monitor systems and infrastructure health, responding to incidents and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of systems, processes, and tools.
- Contribute to Agile team meetings, including daily standups.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including security, privacy, and reliability standards.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, DevOps, or a related field, OR a portfolio of live infrastructure systems built and deployed.
- Solid understanding of core DevOps concepts such as continuous integration, continuous delivery, automation, monitoring, and container orchestration.
- At least 3 years of industry experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, or related roles.
- Experience leading a team of large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in tools and platforms such as AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CircleCI.
- Familiarity with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
